Due to significant growth in patient volumes, we are seeking a fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist to join M. Katherine Hughes, M.D., in our comprehensive cancer care program. This is a second full-time position created to meet increased demand and accommodate the retirement of a local breast surgeon.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Focus exclusively on breast surgery with no general surgery call required

• Perform minimally invasive procedures and complex surgical interventions

• Participate in weekly multidisciplinary tumor board meetings

• Collaborate with medical and radiation oncology teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans

Practice Details

• Office hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• Practice setting: Hospital-based, outpatient

• Typical schedule: 2-3 days in the OR, 2-3 days in clinic

• Patient volume: 20+ patients per day

• EMR System: Epic

• Support: Two dedicated breast imagers (one fellowship-trained)

• Fellowship-trained oncologist breast surgeon

• Board certified or board eligible
